What do I have to do in order to join poly-E-fair?

Everybody within the ETH Domain can join poly-E-fair regardless of his or her affiliation with ETH meaning that all ETH students, PhDs, Postdocs, employees, ETH Alumni as well as members of PSI and EMPA are very welcome to register. 

So far, the official registration for poly-E-fair is not available yet, but you are very welcome to leave us your contact details and we will inform you as soon as the official registration for participants opens.

How can I benefit from joining poly-E-fair?

poly-E-fair gives the unique opportunity to connect with companies and inspiring speakers from every place in the world. 

You have the possibility to see and discover virtual booths with material presenting our partner companies such as videos or explicit job offers. If you have questions, there is a live chat on the 5th of May in which you can connect to representatives of the individual companies directly.

Last, but not least, you can watch inspiring speakers talking about all topics around application, work life balance and many more topics.

Do I have to fulfill special requirements in order to join poly-E-fair? Do I have to pay anything?

Only members of the ETH domain can register meaning that you have to be a student, PhD, post-doc or employee at ETH, PSI, EMPA or EPFL.

The event is free of charge. 

There is NO requirement of speaking or understanding German. Every piece of information is also provided in English.

What does it mean that poly-E-fair takes place on the 5th of May 2020? Is the material still available later?

poly-E-fair taking place on the 5th of May means that all live parts of the event are only available onthat date. Live parts of the event are chat rooms where you can directly speak to representatives of companies. Also there will be a Info desk during these times where you can connect to the organizers in case of problems or questions. 

Outside of the opening hours, all booths including all material like videos or documents are still visible. Also all videos of the keynote speakers can be still watched.

I have problems with the registration or I do not understand how to see or use special features within the job fair. Where do I find help?
